2009 Kia Sedona

March 28, 2009

The Kia Sedona also known as Kia Carnival, is a minivan produced by Kia Motors. It has a compelling value among minivans, offering convenience, comfort, style and performance at a great price.

It comes in short wheelbase and long wheelbase models. The short-wheelbase model comes in a base trim while the long wheelbase is available in LX and EX trims. All trims use the same a 3.8-liter V6 that produces 250-hp. All can seat up to seven, but naturally there’s less cargo space in the short wheelbase than in the long wheelbase. Standard features for the Sedona include side impact and side curtain airbags, four-wheel disc anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, anti-skid system, active front head restraints, and electronic stability system.

The 2009 Kia Sedona gains standard satellite radio.

It is rebadged and sold as the Naza Ria in Malaysia. This allows the van to qualify for National Car incentives within Malaysia.

It is produced for the Chinese market by the Dongfeng Yueda Kia Automobile Company, a joint venture with Kia.
