The 2011 Hyundai Azera gets freshened styling, more power, and a new transmission. Azera is a front-wheel-drive sedan that comes in GLS and uplevel Limited trims. GLS has a 260-horsepower 3.3-liter V6 engine, an increase of 26 horsepower from the 2010 Azera.
The Limited has a 283-horsepower 3.8-liter V6, an increase of 20 horsepower. Both engines team with a new 6-speed automatic transmission, which replaces a 5-speed automatic. Available safety features include ABS, traction control, antiskid system, front- and rear-side airbags, and curtain-side airbags. Standard on the Limited and optional on the GLS are leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a sunroof. A power tilt and telescopic steering wheel, driver-seat memory system, and a leather and wood grain steering wheel are standard on the Limited. A navigation system is a Limited-exclusive option. We have not yet tested the 2011 Hyundai Azera.
